What is the My Promise initiative?

The My Promise initiative is a combined effort to reduce our remaining $3.9 million debt for the new sanctuary. Our current term for the new Sanctuary is 17 years. Our goal is to pay it off in 10 years, which is about $49K/month. We would save ourselves an estimated $830K in total interest. With God’s help, we will achieve our goal.

We plan to have a yearly “My Promise” goal to make sure our budget is on track to maximize our savings. Your My Promise must be separate from regular online giving to support ongoing operating expenses. It’s important for you to know that all My Promise contributions will go directly to pay off our debt early. By the grace of God, we were blessed to be able to build this beautiful new sanctuary through floods, fires and the pandemic. Now it’s time to stay the course and see it through.

My goal is to contribute to the My Promise fund to reduce our debt from our New Sanctuary. Together, we can reduce interest and pay off our loan total of $3.9 million in 10 years to save an estimated $825,938 in total interest! With God’s help and generous stewardship from me/my family and my brothers and sisters in Christ, we will, through prayer and commitment to stewardship, reach our year-end goal.
